EPRs are deducted from the proceeds of loads paid to suppliers, where the Variety and Commodity are so configured, you are the first buyer and the supplier has been flagged as being subject to EPR deductions. This is similar to the way Levies are handled, except that EPR deductions generate a contra combined RCTI/Tax Invoice that retains your commission from the accumulated royalties remitted to the royalty manager.
Because you do not want to deduct EPRs from loads bought from other traders you need to identify those suppliers that are subject to royalty deductions when and if these might be applicable. You do this by checking the Deduct Royalties checkbox on the Supplier window for affected growers:
When this functionality was first introduced in version 3.0.16 of Grain Trader, all suppliers who were flagged to have Levies deducted were optionally updated to also be flagged to deduct royalties. From version 3.3.15, whenever you check any of the Levy checkboxes you will be prompted to also check the Deduct Royalties checkbox if it is not already checked, and the database design update for that version also optionally flags any suppliers in the same way as in version 3.0.16.
Assuming you have now configured the EPR Suppier/Customer who is the Royalty Manager, the Commodities and Varieties, and Growers, you're all set to start entering Loads.
